Description
Amal Jain Perfumery reimagines India's perfumery heritage through a luxury packaging system rooted in Kannauj's centuries-old distillation traditions. Designed for a fourth-generation perfumer, the identity transforms the Deg-Bhapka into the symbolic heart of the brand, blending Indian craftsmanship with a contemporary apothecary. Etching-inspired illustrations are screen printed for tactile richness, while embossed labels translate fragrance into texture. The collection is divided into Day and Night editions, each with its own visual palette within a cohesive design language. The unboxing unfolds like opening a vintage storybook, revealing an embossed envelope with the perfumer's letter, fragrance notes, and a bookmark that doubles as a scent tester. Rather than packaging a perfume, the project packages time, lineage, and the ritual of slow craftsmanship into a collectible luxury object.
