Description
Can structure alone make a familiar mithai feel precious? Instead of applying luxury cues to a conventional box, we transformed four iconic sweets into four sculptural, gemstone-inspired forms. Each became a distinct object, designed to be picked up, explored and gifted. Every structure was engineered from scratch through eight to ten rounds of physical prototyping. The faceted forms had to fit factory trays, support the weight of the sweets, stack efficiently, withstand transportation and remain viable within the cost of a mass-premium range. With every fold affecting stability, dielines and artwork alignment, structure and graphics had to evolve together. Here, structure was not added to the idea. It was the idea. Every plane, fold and facet made preciousness tangible, transforming familiar sweets into unfamiliar forms. Four sweets. Four structures. One cohesive collection. Mithai, made precious.
