Description
Chobi Mela is considered the most significant photography festival in asia, since 2000. The eleventh edition of festival, titled 𝘙𝘦, engages in a critical discourse about the vitality of image making in this troubling time. The identiy design concept draws from the Bengali symbol ঃ (Visarga), taken from the word পুনঃ — “𝘙𝘦”. It signals repetition and renewal: to do again, to begin again, to create anew. It delves into the eternal dialogue between repitation and circle in the Bengali tradition. Rather than a rigid logo, the identity was designed as a dynamic, flexible, and inclusive system—a living visual language of eternal recurrence. Designed for total brand adaptability, the system scaled seamlessly across digital platforms, social media, print collateral, spatial design, and exhibition venues. During the festival, the city emerged with the spirit of the 're.'
