Description

India is in the grip of a cyber fraud epidemic. $90 billion lost annually. 8 in 10 citizens victimised. As scams grew in sophistication — fake links, OTP frauds, deepfake calls — trust in India's digital ecosystem began eroding at scale. The challenge: Cut through the noise of generic awareness campaigns and demonstrate, convincingly, that Google was doing more than anyone to protect Indians online. Our insight: Scammers exploit a cultural instinct to seize opportunities. Indians didn't need more warnings; they needed detection skills. Our strategy: We recruited India's most iconic TV detectives, Karamchand and ACP Pradyuman, to investigate digital scams. As 'The Scam Detectives,' they transformed safety tips into unmissable content. The result: A 12% trust uplift among Key Opinion Formers—4-6x the benchmark. We proved that to protect India, you must speak its cultural language.
