Description
The editing of the 'Tree to Treat' film was not merely assembly, it was a conscious act of visual choreography designed to honour the brand's philosophy through its very structure. The final execution is an attempt in organic flow and rhythm, transforming the sourcing process into a meditative tribute to nature. The editor’s core conviction was that the journey from tree to treat must be unbroken. This was enforced by a strict editorial constraint: no visible VFX, no transitions, and not even a dissolve until the final product window. The film’s structure moves seamlessly from tree to fruit, fruit to craft, and craft to indulgence. Crucially, ideas were allowed to "spill across sections," avoiding a rigid, modular feel and ensuring the film unfolds with the natural, unpredictable rhythm of life itself. Shots cut to the next based on abstract affinities, linking moments by shared movement, texture, colour, and form, rather than just literal meaning.
