The film is built on a non-linear structure that intercuts fragments of the father's daily life with glimpses of a wedding procession moving through town. The purpose of the procession is deliberately withheld; creating tension through what the audience doesn't yet understand. The most significant editorial decision was the aspect ratio shift. During the father's hesitation, the frame is constrained to 4:3 (a visual representation of the psychological pressure he's under. As he finally resolves to act, the frame expands to 16:9, releasing the tension held throughout. This isn't a stylistic flourish; it's emotional architecture. The edit transitions from fragmented, memory-like contemplation into real time as the baraat reaches its destination, allowing the climax to arrive naturally rather than being announced. Pacing is restrained throughout, trusting the audience to feel the weight of each moment before moving to the next.
