We created this piece when GenAI was in a strange cultural space. For many, it feels like a buzzword.. for some, it feels like a threat. In filmmaking, there’s a strong belief that AI can never replicate the emotional realism of filmmaking. The 'Two' project became our opportunity to show that while storytelling is and always will be human work, AI acts as racehorse that elevates the process without replacing it, especially for small studios like ours. 2 years ago, we launched Artificial Labs as a Gen-AI production house. The intent was to create disruption amongst the traditional advertising circles and show them the power they can unleash with Gen-AI filmmaking. We created culturally distinct worlds using AI. Every element - character design, set design, environments, lighting, VFX, voiceover, and music was painstakingly created through prompt refinement, real world referencing and craft, to achieve realism, visual cohesion and cultural accuracy.
