Description

The objective of this film was to reinforce Cadbury Silk’s positioning as the most heartfelt way to express love during Valentine’s Day, while making the brand culturally relevant to a generation (specifically Gen Z) that are increasingly relying on AI for communication in their relationships. To this end, every aspect of direction ties in beautifully with the brand’s ethos and messaging. The casting, the music, the cinematography come together perfectly to capture the emotions and the moments that resonate with the young audience for this brand. The craft and storytelling are heartfelt, youthful and real and is in keeping with the central idea of the film that encourages its audience to follow their instincts and not rely on AI when it comes to matters of the heart. The unspoken message of overreliance on AI and the importance of keeping it real is also significant for our times.
