With 90% of Indian startups failing in the first five years, Razorpay engineered an AI engine that converts millions of unstructured social media rants, on-ground insights from across India, and direct website submissions into validated problems that can be your next startup. The creative breakthrough is the "Itch Index"—a proprietary scoring system that treats raw, multi-source data as a creative brief. Using Natural Language Processing (NLP), the system interprets these inputs through four specific dimensions: Severity, Frequency, Market Whitespace, and Total Addressable Market (TAM). By indexing 15,000+ real-world problems, we transformed cold data into a searchable engine of inspiration. This work redefines data’s role from a metric to the primary creative tool, replacing founder guesswork with a data-validated roadmap for relevance.
