With 90% of Indian startups failing within five years, Razorpay engineered an AI-powered tool that converts millions of unstructured social media rants, on-ground inputs, and direct submissions into a searchable database of validated business opportunities. The core of the tool is the "Itch Index," a proprietary system that transforms raw human frustration into structured intelligence. Using Natural Language Processing (NLP), the platform categorizes 15,000+ problems into industry verticals, ranking them by Severity, Frequency, Market Whitespace, and Total Addressable Market (TAM). Designed for deep exploration, the interface achieved an average session duration of 3:50, as founders used it to replace assumptions with evidence-based discovery. This moves Razorpay from a backend service to a front-end architect of the startup ecosystem.
