Description
In India, everyone has a complaint, but few have the means to solve them. Conversely, 90% of startups fail within five years—the no. 1 reason being a lack of Product-Market Fit. On National Startup Day, Razorpay launched "Fix My Itch" to bridge these two worlds, transforming millions of unstructured rants into a shared "Problem Bank" for the nation. We activated a cross-country exchange, collecting insights from social media, on-ground crowdsourcing, and direct submissions. Using the "Itch Index," we quantified these frustrations via Severity, Frequency, Market Whitespace, and Total Addressable Market (TAM). The platform became a viral hub for founder circles, shifting the culture from building in a vacuum to solving for the community. By indexing 15,000+ real-world problems, Razorpay facilitated a shared experience where citizens provided the "why" to the founders' "how," ensuring the next wave of Indian innovation is rooted in the lived reality of its people.
