To celebrate India’s most beloved summer fruit, Instamart reimagined the traditional print ad as a living, interactive experience. The full-page creative featured a hand-illustrated mango tree, surrounded by children at play, evoking the nostalgia of an unhurried, pre-digital summer. But the true idea revealed itself beyond the page. When exposed to sunlight, the mangoes on the tree gradually turned a rich golden yellow using photochromatic ink - a first for Indian print media. The ad transformed in real time, mirroring how mangoes naturally ripen under the sun. The insight was rooted in culture: mangoes in India are not just consumed, they are remembered.
