Description

In cash-heavy markets like India, checking notes against light remains a common way to verify authenticity, despite being unreliable. Steadfast, a brand known for its office automation products, including currency counting machines with counterfeit detection, set out to challenge this habit. The film uses AI and CG as a core storytelling device, creating photoreal rat characters and attic environments that carry the narrative’s emotional weight. These elements were developed through generative AI and refined through multiple iterations to achieve believable expressions, movement and interaction. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate these AI-crafted visuals with live-action footage. Careful attention to lighting, texture and perspective ensured continuity across frames. In post-production, compositing and grading brought both worlds together, allowing the technology to support the story while keeping the audience focused on the narrative.
