Description
In cash-heavy markets like India, checking notes against light remains a common way to verify authenticity, despite being unreliable. Steadfast, a brand offering office automation products including currency counting machines with counterfeit detection, set out to challenge this habit. The film approaches this through a fictional, narrative-driven format. It builds a dark, cause-and-effect story around a single moment of looking up. As a goon checks a note, his attention shifts to an unexpected sight above, setting off a chain of events that spirals into a tragic and ironic outcome. Designed as a piece of branded storytelling rather than a conventional ad, the film prioritises narrative, tone and character. The brand enters only at the end, where a Steadfast machine demonstrates a smarter way to detect fakes, linking the story back to a clear product truth.
