Period shame in India doesn't start with girls. It starts with boys who weren’t taught better. Stayfree identified the real culprit - male ignorance - and set out to dismantle it, one family at a time. On World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025, Stayfree radicalized period lessons: taking our existing ad & reframing them into Period Tutorials – through Reels! A series that became a period education tool, deployed on the one platform teenage India already lives on: Instagram Reels. No new content. No new budget. Just a sharp deployment strategy that transformed a media asset into a movement. The target wasn't boys themselves - it was their parents, because the hardest part of any conversation is simply starting it. Teachers and influencers carried it beyond living rooms into classrooms. The result: 789,000+ period lessons delivered - not through lectures, but through a smartphone scroll.
