Description
The Blinkstop demonstrates simplicity in design based problem solving using the very UX (The screens) that causes the problem . Addressing pervasive screen-induced Myopia caused by plummeting blink rates, we designed 'The Blinkstop' -_- A subtle, non-intrusive punctuation mark that acts as a cue to blink. We seamlessly integrated it into Primebook laptops via a software update, this elegant UX solution prompts users to blink. The algorithm factored average reading rates and replaced select full stops with Blinkstops-_- It transformed a passive digital experience into an active, health-conscious one, prioritizing user well-being without disrupting user flow. It embedded eye-health cues as an inherent part of the digital interface, Blinkstop sets a new standard for thoughtful, human-centric UX design, benefiting 800,000 students across 1500 schools and digital libraries. Currently active in over 70000 laptops.
