Description
In Bengal, the jewellery category is dominated by trusted local jewellers. For CaratLane to make a mark, it needed more than awareness. It needed cultural belonging. The deeper insight lay in music. Rabindranath Tagore's compositions are the emotional vocabulary of Bengali love - instantly recognisable, cutting across age, class, and generation. So instead of using a single track as background, the film constructs an entire narrative from fragments of over 2,500 Tagore compositions. Verses were selected and stitched together as dialogues. Questions from one song answered by another - transforming independent compositions into a seamless screenplay. The craft lies in musical continuity. Working with composer Debojyoti Mishra, transitions bridge variations in tempo, era, and structure into a unified emotional arc - set against the charged romance of Durga Pujo, famously known as Bengal's Valentine's Day. CaratLane created a new ritual of Pujo proposals.
