Marriott Bonvoy and Flipkart: the new couple in town. Our job? Announce this partnership to the internet. So we asked: when everyone fights for attention on social media, how do you stand out? By doing the opposite. Showing up where attention already lives. After studying over a million Flipkart searches, we built a framework mapping queries that revealed unconscious travel desires to Marriott locations, narrowing it down to 20 high-frequency searches. We hid Marriott Bonvoy experiences inside Flipkart’s native search bar, leveraging its 180 million daily users and ad-free real estate for customer acquisition. The delivery was direct and personalized: a native dropdown ad, a custom page per product-to-property mapping, and a single CTA to link loyalty accounts. So a search for “Korean skincare” led to Marriott in Seoul. Instead of taking the idea to people, we let people come looking for it.
