Description
How do you film forty years of history without making a documentary? For the 40th anniversary of Asian Paints Sharad Samman, our award celebrating Pujo artistry, we created a film where sound becomes the story. To make a long legacy feel new, we built a sonic and visual time machine. The film traces four decades of Pujo’s creative evolution, driven entirely by a soundtrack meticulously stitched from the defining music of each era, from 1985 to 2025. This evolving soundscape dictates the film’s pace, transitions and emotional arc. As the music shifts, so does the world on screen. A layered blend of stop motion, animation and VFX follows our mascot Gattu through time, capturing the spirit of each decade. The result is more than a brand film. It is a dynamic cultural archive and an innovation in narrative form, where sound leads storytelling, turning history into a rich, multi sensory experience that lets audiences feel the passage of time and culture.
