Description
For the 40th anniversary of Asian Paints Sharad Samman, the “Oscars of Pujo,” our brief was to create a live event. But how do you create a standout event during Durga Pujo, when the entire city of Kolkata is the main stage? You don't compete. You become part of the city's living performance. Our event wasn't held at a single venue; it was a decentralized, moving activation. We transformed 40 of Kolkata's iconic yellow taxis into a live "rolling museum." Each taxi was a unique, hand-painted artwork, bringing a specific decade of Pujo's artistic evolution (1985-2025) to life on the streets. The event was unscripted and participatory. It became a city-wide treasure hunt, turning a simple taxi ride into an impromptu, immersive journey through art history. The interiors, featuring our Royale Glitz paint, made the brand experience tactile. By making the city our venue and its people our audience, our live event became a celebrated, moving part of the festival itself, not an interruption.
