To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Asian Paints Sharad Samman, the "Oscars of Pujo," we were tasked with creating an event activation. But during Kolkata's Durga Pujo, the entire city is an event. How do you stand out? You don't build a stage; you become a moving part of the celebration. Our activation was a "rolling museum." We transformed 40 of Kolkata's iconic yellow taxis—a symbol of pandal-hopping nostalgia—into rideable time capsules. Each taxi was a unique, hand-painted artwork representing a decade of Pujo's artistic evolution from 1985-2025. This wasn't an event you RSVP'd to; it was a surprise you discovered on the streets. A simple commute became an immersive, personal journey through history, with interiors featuring our Royale Glitz paint making the brand tangible. By turning a fleet of taxis into the event itself, our activation moved with the city's pulse, becoming a living, celebrated cultural experience that people sought out and shared.
