Tapping into gaming culture where Gen Zs express themselves through quirky gaming names, we created Name2Claim with BGMI: a dare to turn their gamer name into their real name. The prize? Every gamer’s wishlist on Flipkart, for free. To claim it, gamers had to file for a name change on name2claim.in And we’d do the rest by publishing their claim in a newspaper, making their name-change official. We launched the idea with a film targeting BGMI gamers. Placed ads inside BGMI. Got top gamers to spread the dare. Nagged gamers through in-app push. And finally, ran ads in leading dailies to announce the new names of our winners.
