Description
Every Indian brother is indebted to his sister for years of favours. Like teaching him how to say ‘croissant’ or saving him from annoying relatives. Yet every rakhi, sisters are repaid with token gifts. So Flipkart created InvoiSIS. A website that put a monetary value on every sisterly favour ever done. Sisters could select relatable favours, generate an invoice, choose gift options matching the amount owed, and send it to their brothers. With CA Rachana Ranade helping “price” every favour. Instead of pushing Rakhi discounts, we made gifting itself the idea by turning emotional debt into a shopping trigger. Sisters initiated the demand. Brothers were nudged to “repay” through gifting. Creators, memes and in-app reminders kept driving people back into purchase. Guilt became intent, and intent became orders. The campaign generated 350K+ invoices, 2.4M+ website visits, 4X Rakhi orders and a 35% rise in average gift order value.
