The exhibition transformed a dense, region-wide archive into an inviting spatial experience, enabling young audiences to discover and participate in the evolving dialogue around architecture in the public realm across South Asia. Held at IFBE, Mumbai, the exhibition culminated an evolving travelling series, bringing together 78 emergent practices and 128 projects. Within the raw volume of the ice factory, curved fabric surfaces carved out intimate spaces for viewing and exchange. Four layers made the research accessible: maps looked beyond political borders; equally structured portfolios gave every practice equal presence; a collective grid brought all projects together; and tactile accordion books revealed patterns in how practices operate. An evolved gradient identity moved through the space, creating rhythm and orientation while receding around architectural imagery. More than a display, the exhibition became an active framework for comparison, dialogue and collective learning.
