Description
An ecosystem doesn’t just exist; it sustains everything. Forests house 80% of terrestrial species, yet 4 billion trees are cut down annually for paper production, and 1 million species now face extinction. Environment Day provided the perfect opportunity to address this major blind spot and make this "invisible kill" visible. To highlight this crisis, our film takes viewers through a fragile paper environment where the noise of a printer cuts down a tree, triggering a tragic chain reaction. Each subsequent loss is accompanied by mechanical sounds until the machine ultimately swallows the entire ecosystem, emitting a single, blank sheet of paper. The delicate universe highlights emotional loss, transforming a breathing landscape into a mechanical slaughter with a warning for human survival. The film struck a nerve online, earning deep appreciation for its raw honesty.
